PAST URANIUM PRODUCER – Approximately 400-460,000 lbs produced from open pit operation (1959-1962) at a grade of 0.20-0.23% U3O8.
DEPOSIT MODEL – Uranium mineralization occurs in tuffaceous sandstone that has been correlated with the tuff that hosts beryllium deposits nearby, at Materion Corp.’s Spor Mountain operation.
- Property recently acquired by staking 62 claims, 1240 acres. No royalties.
- Excellent logistics, located 80 km from the town of Delta, access by excellent roads, with only the last 10 kms not paved.
- Property area is significantly under-explored, with minimal exploration in the last two uranium booms (1960s-1970s, 2005-2008).
- Property comprises BLM claims, that can be readily permitted for a drill program.
- Exploration targets with potential includes areas to the south of the Open pit where government geologist report the favorable host unit is traceable beneath alluvial cover.
